Order updates
Settings → Messaging → Order updates is a grid: order events down the side (placed, paid, shipped, delivered, cancelled, refunded) and channels across the top (SMS, WhatsApp).
- Switch on the cells you want, for example Order shipped → SMS.
- Pick a template in each cell, or leave Automatic to use the approved template in the customer's language.
- Click Save changes.
A cell shows a warning when it is on but nothing would be sent (for example, there's no approved template). Cells for a channel that is off are locked.
Everything starts off. Each update is sent once per order, event and channel.
Tip for COD stores: an SMS on Order shipped with the tracking link reduces "where is my order" calls and refused COD parcels.
