What is Master Products?

Master Products is for marketplace stores, where many sellers sell the same items. Instead of every seller creating their own copy of, say, Prestige Iris 750 W Mixer Grinder, you create one master product with the proper name, photos, description and category. Sellers then sell that product by adding just their own price and stock.

Why it helps

• One clean listing. Name, photos and specifications are written once, by you, and every seller's offer uses them.
• No duplicates. Shoppers don't see the same item ten times with ten different spellings.
• Sellers compete on price. When several sellers offer the same master product, the product page shows an Other sellers list so shoppers can pick the price, rating or delivery they prefer.

Who does what

• You (the store owner) create and edit master products, approve new ones sellers suggest, and decide what sellers may change.
• Sellers browse your Master Catalog in their seller panel, click Sell This Product, and enter their price and stock.
• Shoppers see a normal product page. If more than one seller offers it, the page shows the other sellers' offers.

Shoppers never see the master product itself, only sellers' offers of it. A master product with no seller offers is not shown on your store.

Master Products is for marketplace stores only. Single-brand stores do not see it.
