Vendor offers on masters
A seller's product can become an offer of a master product in three ways.
1. Sell from the Master Catalog (most common)
- In their seller panel the seller opens Master Catalog.
- They search or pick a category, open a product with View Details, then click Sell This Product.
- They enter Your Selling Price and stock (and optionally their own SKU) and save.
The offer goes live straight away, even if you use Product Moderation, because you already approved the master product. Sellers can select several products and click Sell selected to add them in one go.
2. Link a product the seller already has
Sellers cannot link an existing product themselves from their panel today. You do it for them: open the master product → Link Existing Product → search for the seller's product → Link. Use Unlink to undo.
Linking replaces the seller's product name, description, category and photos with the master's, and their own photos are removed. A seller who wants to keep their photos should use Sell This Product instead and add the photos afterwards.
3. Automatic match by SKU
When a seller creates a product whose SKU matches a master product, it is linked automatically. If the details clash with the master (different name or category, for example), what happens depends on When a vendor's SKU matches an existing master with conflicting fields: queue it for you to review (default), link anyway, or refuse.
