Getting started

1. Switch it on. Open Settings → Modules, find Order Notifications and enable it (see Quick start).
2. Pick the buzzer. Open Settings → Notification Preferences. In the New-order buzzer card:
   • keep Ring the buzzer for new orders on;
   • choose a Buzzer sound and press Preview to hear it;
   • set Buzzer time (seconds), 1 to 30 (default 4);
   • click Save.
3. Open your Dashboard (Home → Dashboard) and click anywhere on the page once. Browsers only allow sound after you have clicked or tapped on a page; until then a small message asks you to.
4. Test it. Place a cash-on-delivery order on your store from your phone. Within a second or two the Dashboard shows New order received and the buzzer rings.

Leave that Dashboard tab open whenever you want to hear orders. Turn the computer's volume up, and don't mute the tab.
