Catalog promotions. Shoppers simply see the lower price on product cards and the product page, usually with the original price struck through.

Cart promotions without a code. The discount appears in the cart and checkout totals as soon as the cart meets the conditions, for example when the subtotal passes ₹999 for free delivery.

Coupon codes. In the cart (Have a coupon?) or at checkout (Coupon Code), the shopper types the code and clicks Apply. They see Coupon applied! or Invalid coupon code. They can Remove it.

Available offers card. If a promotion is set to show on product pages, shoppers see it listed, for example Bank offer: 10% off with HDFC cards or Use code FLAT200, with your terms. Codes are shown only if you chose Show the coupon code to shoppers.

Free products are added to the cart automatically at ₹0 when the conditions are met.

After-order rewards (a coupon for next time, joining a customer group) happen after the order is paid.
