Getting started

Let's create a classic coupon: ₹200 off orders of ₹1,499 or more.

1. Open Marketing → Promotions and click New Promotion.
2. General:
   • Name: FLAT200 — ₹200 off above ₹1,499 (shoppers may see this, so keep it clear);
   • Zone: Cart;
   • Valid From / Valid Until: the offer dates;
   • Status: Active.
3. Coupon: type FLAT200 in Coupon Code (or click Generate Code). Set a Usage Limit if you want only, say, the first 500 uses, and Per Customer Limit to 1.
4. Conditions: Add Condition → Subtotal → greater or equal → 1499.
5. Bonuses: Add Bonus → Order Discount → Reduce by fixed amount → 200.
6. Click Create Promotion.
7. Test: add ₹1,500 of products to the cart, enter FLAT200 in Have a coupon? and click Apply. The total drops by ₹200. Try with less than ₹1,499: the code is refused.
