Post-order bonuses

Some bonuses reward the shopper after the order rather than in the cart:

• Generate coupon — the customer receives a coupon code for a future order.
• Assign user group — the customer joins a customer group, for example VIP, which can unlock catalog prices for that group.

When they happen. After the order is paid. For cash on delivery, that is when the order is marked paid. If the order is cancelled or refunded, the promotion's usage is given back and the reward is reversed where possible.

Ideas

• Spend ₹2,000, get ₹200 off your next order: Subtotal ≥ 2000 → Generate coupon.
• Become a VIP after your first big order: Subtotal ≥ 5000 → Assign user group VIP, plus a Catalog promotion for the VIP group.
