What is WhatsApp Notifications?
WhatsApp Notifications sends WhatsApp messages to your customers for order updates, one-time codes (OTPs) and offers, from your own WhatsApp Business account. It is off until you switch it on.
For Indian shoppers, WhatsApp is often read faster than SMS or email, and a shipped message with a tracking link cuts down "where is my order" calls and refused COD parcels.

The one rule that matters
WhatsApp only lets a business start a conversation with a template approved by Meta. Order updates and offers are started by you, so every template you use must be approved in your Meta or provider account first. Plain text only reaches customers who messaged you in the last 24 hours. See Approved templates.
Messages go to the phone number on the customer's profile, or on the guest order. There is no separate WhatsApp number to collect.
Meta charges per conversation; you pay that through your Meta or provider account, not CartWhizz.
