What is Analytics?
Analytics is CartWhizz's built-in reporting. It works out your sales, orders, customers, stock and payments from your own store's orders — no setup, no outside tool. It is part of every store.
You use it in three places:
- Home → Dashboard — today's revenue and orders, trends, recent orders, top products, low stock and things that need attention. You can rearrange it and add extra cards.
- Home → Analytics → Reports — detailed reports for any date range, with CSV download: Sales, Customers, Inventory, Payments, Categories, and Commissions on a marketplace.
- Home → Analytics → Scheduled Reports — the same reports emailed to you daily, weekly or monthly.
What counts as a sale
Reports add up the order total — including GST and shipping — of every order except those that are cancelled, refunded or failed. Orders that are still open count too, including COD orders that haven't been delivered yet. On a marketplace, a customer's order is counted once, not once per seller.
What it is not
- Not visitor tracking. It doesn't count visitors, page views or traffic sources. For that, use Visitor analytics (the Store Analytics module) or connect Google Analytics.
- No forecasting and no A/B testing.
Known limitation: reports split days at midnight UTC, which is 5:30 AM in India. An order placed at 2 AM IST counts on the previous day's figures.
