Troubleshooting

No codes are created.

At the moment this is a known problem: rules don't run when orders are completed, so no codes are created for any store. Once it is fixed, check the points below.

• Is the rule Active?
• Was the order marked Complete? Other statuses don't count.
• Does the order really match? For First Order, the customer must have no earlier completed orders. For Nth Order, it must be exactly that order number.
• For Minimum Order Amount, check you entered paise (₹2,000 = 200000).

Codes are created but no email arrives.

• Is Send coupon via email to customer ticked?
• Do other store emails arrive? Check Settings → Communications → Email Logs.
• Did the customer check out as a guest? Guests don't get the email.

"Coupon is invalid or expired" at checkout.

• Check the expiry date under the rule.
• Is the cart below the Min Order?
• Has the customer already used it, or has it reached Max Uses?
• Is another coupon already applied?

The discount is tiny (or huge).

The values use small units: 1000 = 10%, 10000 = ₹100. Fix the rule; codes already sent keep the old value, so disable those in Marketing → Promotions if needed.

The Uses column always shows 0.
