Glossary

• Banner — a promotional image with an optional link, text and schedule.
• Banner Slider — the layout block that rotates banners, usually at the top of the home page.
• Overlay — heading, subtitle and button shown on top of the banner image.
• Destination URL — where a tap on the banner takes the shopper.
• Alt text — a short description of the image for screen readers and search engines.
• Scheduled — a banner waiting for its start date.
• User Group — a group of customers, such as Wholesale, that can be shown special banners.
• Layout — the arrangement of blocks on a store page, edited in My store → Layouts.
