Usergroup-restricted banners
You can show a banner only to certain customers — for example wholesale buyers, VIP members or staff.
- Create the customer groups first in Customers → User Groups, and add customers to them.
- In the banner, choose one or more groups under User Groups.
- Save.
Who sees what:

| Guest (not signed in) | Only banners with no User Groups set. |
| Signed in, not in the chosen group | Only banners with no User Groups set. |
| Signed in and in one of the chosen groups | That banner, plus all banners with no User Groups set. |
Leave User Groups empty to show a banner to everyone.
Keep in mind that a restricted banner can't be seen by guests, so don't use it for your main sale message.
