Delivery Scheduling

Troubleshooting

The calendar does not appear at checkout

Check, in order:

  1. Settings → Modules → Delivery Scheduling is on.
  2. The shipping method the shopper chose has at least one active slot. Search the slot list by the method name.
  3. The cart ships as one package: carts with products from several sellers never show a calendar.
  4. It is not a collection order.

Every date says "Not available yet"

The earliest date falls after the last bookable date. A product's own processing days, or the cut-off passing, can push the earliest date past Days bookable ahead. Raise Days bookable ahead, or lower the processing days.

Dates say "No deliveries this day"

That weekday has no active slot, or the date is a holiday — shoppers see the same words for both. Check the slot list and Calendar rules → Holidays.

Dates say "Fully booked"

Every slot that day reached its capacity. Raise Max Orders, add a slot, or look in Scheduled Deliveries for unpaid orders still holding seats.

The first date is later than expected

Work through the rule: today, or tomorrow after the cut-off; moved to a working day; plus the processing days of the slowest product in the cart, counting working days and skipping holidays. A product with its own processing days replaces the store's value.

The first date differs from the "Arrives by" estimate

Expected. The estimate adds the shipping method's estimated days; the slot calendar does not.

"Today" or the dates are a day off

The dates are computed in the wrong time zone. The Scheduling rules card shows the zone in use and warns when it is UTC. Set your store's time zone under Settings → General, or one under Calendar rules.

The shopper sees "Choose a delivery date and time to place your order."

Require a delivery slot is on and no slot is chosen. If every date is closed or full, the shopper has to pick another shipping method — or turn the setting off in Booking rules.

The shopper sees "That delivery slot is no longer available. Please choose another."

Between choosing and paying, someone took the last seat, the slot was disabled, the cut-off passed, or the module was switched off. The calendar refreshes; the shopper picks again.

The shopper sees "Your order ships in more than one package…"

The cart has products from several sellers, so it cannot book one slot. Pressing Place order again places it without a slot.

A slot will not save

  • "A slot with these times already exists on that day." — a slot of the same method, day and times exists, maybe disabled. Switch it back on.
  • "Tick at least one day." / "Choose a shipping method." — both are required.
  • "The start time must be before the end time." — a slot cannot cross midnight; end it at 23:59 at the latest.

Delete disabled the slot instead

The slot has bookings, even cancelled ones. It stays disabled so those orders keep their delivery time.

A booking is missing from Scheduled Deliveries

The list hides cancelled bookings and bookings of cancelled, refunded or failed orders: turn on Show cancelled bookings and orders, and clear the Delivery date filter with All dates.

A cancelled order still shows "Booked"

Expected: the seat was freed when the order was cancelled. See edge cases.

The orders list has no Delivery column

The column and the Delivery date filter appear only while the module is on. The order view still shows each booking.

An order email has no Delivery row

Only the standard English Order confirmation and New order (admin) emails carry the row. The order may have no booking, or the email was customised, translated, or is the seller's new-order email. Add the row yourself, as shown in the settings reference, or use Reset to default on an edited English email.

The slot list shows an ID instead of a shipping method

That shipping method was deleted. Disable or delete its slots.

Staff cannot open the page or change a slot

"This feature is not available" means the module is off. Otherwise check the role against permissions & roles: the page needs View shipping, slot changes Manage shipping, Scheduled Deliveries View orders or Manage orders, cancelling Manage orders.
