Admin walkthrough — set up search

Search Management itself has nothing to fill in. Most of the setup is on Products → Search Settings.

1. Open Products → Search Settings.
2. Under General:
   • Live Search Enabled — shows suggestions as the shopper types. Leave it on.
   • Minimum Query Length — how many letters before suggestions appear. 2 is a good default; use 3 if you have a large catalog.
3. Under Search Sources, choose what appears in the suggestions: products, categories, brands, vendors and pages.
4. Under Result Limits, set how many of each type to show.
5. Under Display Options, choose whether product prices and images appear, and whether products are grouped under their category.
6. Click Save.
7. Open your storefront on your phone and type a product name to check the result.
