Do I need to reindex after every change? No. Product changes reach search automatically. Reindex only after big imports or if results look wrong.

Does reindexing take my store offline? No. It runs in the background.

Can I add synonyms like "mobile = smartphone"? Not yet. Put both words in the product name or description for now.

Can I see what customers searched for? Not yet. There is no search report.

Why is my search Disconnected? Fast search is provided by CartWhizz's servers. If it shows Disconnected, contact CartWhizz support. Your store still searches with basic matching meanwhile.
