Quick start

What it does. Sends your store's visits, add-to-carts and purchases to Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads). Add the Conversions API token so purchases still count when a browser blocks the pixel.

Who can use it

  • Off until you switch it on.
  • Your plan decides whether you can use it. The module card in Settings → Modules shows Not in your plan (with See plans) or Paid add-on (with Buy add-on) when it is not included. The features list shows which plans include it.

Switch it on

  1. In your admin, open Settings → Modules.
  2. Find Facebook Pixel. If it is on the Installed tab, click Enable; if not, open the Browse tab and click Install.
  3. Click Configure, fill in Pixel ID, and save.

Switching it off later stops it working but keeps its data, so switching it back on picks up where you left off.

Settings

  • Pixel ID Required.
  • Conversions API access token (optional) — From Meta Events Manager > your pixel > Settings > Conversions API > Generate access token. Adds a server-side Purchase that Meta de-duplicates with the browser one, so ad blockers and iOS no longer hide sales. Stored encrypted; after saving it shows as hidden.
  • Test event code (optional) — Only while testing in Events Manager > Test events (e.g. TEST12345). Clear it when done.
