What Product Reviews does

Product Reviews lets shoppers rate your products from 1 to 5 stars and write a review. Ratings show on product cards and product pages, and good reviews are one of the strongest reasons a new shopper trusts your store.

What shoppers see and do

• Star ratings on product cards, and a Customer Reviews section on each product page with the average, a rating breakdown and the reviews (sort by Most Recent, Highest Rated or Most Helpful).
• Write a Review: stars, a title and the review. Logged-in customers, and guests with their name and email.
• Helpful votes on other reviews.

What you control

• Approve, reject or delete reviews in Customers → Reviews, one by one or in bulk.
• Whether new reviews go live at once (Auto-approve Reviews, on by default) or wait for you.
• Whether logged-in customers must have bought the product (Require Purchase, on by default).
• Whether low-star reviews are hidden (Minimum Rating Filter).

Marketplace sellers see reviews of their products and can reply publicly.

Not available today: photos with reviews, and replying as the store owner (only sellers can reply). See Edge cases.
