Notification toggles + opt-in

Switching individual emails on or off

Settings → Communications → Notification Preferences lists each event (new order, order shipped, password reset…) with switches per channel — email, push, in-admin (websocket) and SMS — plus who receives it and how often.

• Click a switch to turn that channel off or on for that event, then Save Changes.
• Enable All / Disable All for a whole channel.
• Reset to Defaults restores the original choices.

This page needs the Real-Time Order Notifications module. Without it, the page asks you to enable that module.

Customers' own choices

Customers can stop marketing emails with the Unsubscribe link in those emails. They can't turn off order and account emails.

Not available

• The Order Confirmation, Shipping Updates and Marketing Emails switches some guides mention aren't shown anywhere in the admin, and the Marketing Emails switch wouldn't change anything. Use Notification Preferences instead.
• There's no switch to turn off all store emails at once.
